In order to better accommodate the public, we will be changing the schedule of the Vaccine, License & Microchip Clinics at Foothills Animal Shelter. Starting the week of February 8, we will no longer host clinics on Tuesdays and Friday clinics will take place from 4 – 5:30 pm. In addition, beginning in March, the clinic on the first Saturday of every month will be from 2 – 4 pm.
Pet owners are able to license their pets at our Shelter, as well as at select veterinary and municipal offices throughout Jefferson County. For a complete list of these locations, please click here.
In addition, you can visit walk-in clinics held at various times and dates throughout our community. These clinics also offer affordable vaccination services (bring your pet’s vaccination records to help us better serve you). A current rabies vaccination is required to license.
Two different opportunities exist to help make licensing more convenient for you:
- Vaccine, Microchip & Licensing Clinics at Foothills Animal Shelter: These clinics are held every Tuesday and Friday from 3-4 pm and the first Saturday of every month from 1-3 pm at our Shelter.
- Vaccine, Microchip & Licensing Clinics in various locations throughout our community are also hosted by Foothills Animal Shelter in partnership with local Animal Control teams.
