Pet owners are able to license their pets at our Shelter, as well as at select veterinary and municipal offices throughout Jefferson County. For a complete list of these locations, please click here.
In addition, you can visit walk-in clinics held at various times and dates throughout our community. These clinics also offer affordable vaccination services (bring your pet’s vaccination records to help us better serve you). A current rabies vaccination is required to license.
Two different opportunities exist to help make licensing more convenient for you:
- Vaccine, Microchip & Licensing Clinics at Foothills Animal Shelter. These clinics are held twice weekly at our Shelter. Please note that the regularly scheduled Vaccine, License and Microchip Clinics at our Shelter have been canceled on the following dates: November 26, November 28, December 24, December 26, December 31 and January 2. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Vaccine, Microchip & Licensing Clinics in various locations throughout our community hosted by Foothills Animal Shelter in partnership with local Animal Control teams.
