Pet owners are able to license their pets at our Shelter, as well as at select veterinary and municipal offices throughout Jefferson County. For a complete list of these locations, please click here.
In addition, you can visit walk-in clinics held at various times and dates throughout our community. These clinics also offer affordable vaccination services (bring your pet’s vaccination records to help us better serve you). A current rabies vaccination is required to license.
Three different opportunities exist to help make licensing more convenient for you:
- Vaccine, Microchip & Licensing Clinics at Foothills Animal Shelter. These clinics are held twice weekly at our Shelter.
- Vaccine, Microchip & Licensing Clinics in various locations throughout our community hosted by Foothills Animal Shelter in partnership with local Animal Control teams.
- VETCO clinics, which are affordable veterinary clinics held inside select PETCO stores.
Please note that the regularly scheduled Vaccine, Microchip & Licensing Clinics at Foothills Animal Shelter on: Friday, September 12; Wednesday, September 17; and Friday, September 19 have been CANCELED. We apologize for any inconvenience.
