Foothills Animal Shelter Announces Rebranding in Celebration of 10 Year Anniversary

(GOLDEN, CO – August 5, 2020) –

Foothills Animal Shelter, a recognized resource for making lives better for pets and people, announced the company’s rebranding in celebration of its 10th anniversary. In August 2010, the shelter moved their operations into the current facility, changed their name and significantly improved the tools used to care for their pets and their community. The rebranding reflects how much their mission has evolved and to align with their stance on creating a better community.

In addition to the new graphic identity, Foothills Animal Shelter is celebrating this marquee year by hosting a month-long celebration. Throughout August, they are offering $10 vaccines, $10 microchips, 10% off the Foothills Animal Shelter retail shop and $10 adoptions for cats 1 year and older. On Wednesday, August 5thpeople can donate any amount to participate in Poses for Pets, a digital yoga tutorial featuring adorable shelter pets. Visit FoothillsAnimalShelter.org for information as more events will be announced!

We didn’t cut our bangs, start working out or go on some ridiculous diet during quarantine. But, in celebration of 10 years of making lives better for pets and people, we updated our logo and branding! This comes at the start of more exciting changes for the shelter soon to be announced,” says Connie Howard, Executive Director at Foothills.

On the design level, the Foothills team felt it was time to refresh the look by bringing pets back into the forefront of the logo. The typeface and colors reflect the shelter’s approach to their work: invoking comfort and happiness to those who adopt, support and utilize their resources while representing the pride they take in caring for animals of Colorado.

Foothills Animal Shelter could not continue their mission without the support of their generous donors. The Credit Union of Denver, presenting sponsor of the 10 Year Anniversary Celebration, has supported the shelter for many years and believes that a cooperative and collaborative approach will bring us closer as a community.
