Meet Amiri! She’s a sweet soul, though a bit shy at first. However, once she warms up, her playful side shines through. She seems to have missed some important opportunities for socialization throughout her life. As a result, Amiri is looking for a family who understands the importance of taking things slow at first, since she might need some time to adjust to new surroundings and people. But once she’s feeling comfortable, we think Amiri will blossom into the perfect companion. Amiri came to Foothills through no fault of her own when her previous family had to make the difficult decision to rehome her.
Amiri has been described by our volunteers as a super sweet girl, a little shy at first but willing to walk calmly by their side. Although she may still be a bit hesitant when it comes to being petted, she’ll take treats from their hands as she becomes more confident with them.
Amiri is seeking a home without children or cats.
