This pretty calico has been through tremendous upheaval in her recent life and is seeking the chance to relax in her golden years. We suspect she may have previously enjoyed a greater degree of social connection with people than she is comfortable exploring in the shelter environment. Her ideal adopters will be willing to take that chance on her, offer her a thoughtful introduction to her new home, and understand that it may take a prolonged acclimation and gentle trust-building period to develop that relationship and see her true personality emerge. Dragonfuit’s perfect human will accept her for who she is, whether she begins displaying a more affectionate side following some decompression or prefers to remain a more “admire from afar” kitty. At this time, Dragonfuit is available to a home with kids aged 10+ or, ideally, no kids. She’s likely to appreciate plenty of calm and quiet and slow intros to any resident furry friends.
