what a handsome dog this Dude is! Dude is a go with the flow kind of guy who can’t wait to join his new family on all adventures! He enjoys long, sniffy walks, play time with his family, and lounging on the couch at the end of a fun filled day.
Dude may take a bit of time to adjust to a new routine, so his ideal family should be patient, supportive, and gentle in how they approach this new friendship, and allow Dude some time to warm up to new people. Our volunteers have told us that he can be a bit shy and hesitant initially, but once he’s outside, he walks well, sitting politely for treats.
Dude will only be rehomed to a family without other dogs in the home at this time to aid in a low-stress transition. Dude is what we lovingly call a Golden Nugget – a pet whose shine only grows brighter once you take the time to know him!
