Strong, sturdy fella, Milky Way is built like an athlete! The shelter has been overwhelming for this fella and he has taken comfort in building friendships at his pace, offering toys and yummy treats will get you there faster. Milky Way appears inexperienced but interested in other dogs, and once outside of the this stressful environment he may be prone to finding the fun to be had with them!
Milky Way is such a goober and has his moments of bouncy play and LOVES to chase his plush toys. After some play and exploration this cutie can settle nicely and enjoys resting his face on our shoes or in a lap. Once the friendship is made, he will be a lifelong bestie! This sweet pup has been in shelter care long enough and he is eager to find a quiet place to rest and recuperate. He is also learning some very useful skills like polite leash walking, place (bed), and he knows sit and down! The best dogs usually make us earn their friendship and in return we earn their love and loyalty. <3
During this transitional time, for his comfort, Milky Way is available to families with children aged 10 or older.
