Such a smiley fella! Nice age, too, Shay knows who he is and how he likes to have fun, and has the maturity to be able to relax comfortably alongside his favorite people
Shay’s affection for other dogs is waning as he’s maturing, and at this stage in his life is seeking a home as a one-and-only where he can enjoy affection and playtime with his favorite toys in peace.
Shay’s ideal family will appreciate and even enjoy all of those quirks and tendencies often attributed to a husky: a little bit of a Houdini when he’s bored, the need for an outlet for his athleticism, and an objection to confinement–Shay wants to make his own choices! A flexible schedule where Shay can share your company often as he learns a new routine alongside and develops new friendships may be most comfortable for him.
