We don’t know too much about this handsome little panther’s past, just that he seemed quite stressed and overwhelmed to find himself in the shelter. But with a slow, gentle approach (and some of his favorite treats on hand!), he has started to open up and show his fondness for cheek- and neck-scratches. Turnip may acclimate best into a quieter home with human friends who will be patient as he continues learning to trust and seek attention on his terms. For his comfort, he’s available to homes with no children or kids age 10+. He has been relaxed in the company of another cat in the shelter and may enjoy joining a multi-cat home. Turnip is currently getting some extra TLC in one of the shelter administration offices but is available for visits. If he sounds like a good fit for your home, ask staff to set up a meet-and-greet today!
