Samus is a sweet girl with a gentle personality and an easygoing nature. She enjoys spending time with her family and exploring her surroundings at her own pace. Samus has a calm, friendly presence that makes her a joy to be around. She can be shy when meeting new people and will probably appreciate a patient and gentle adopter who can allow her to approach life at her own pace.
Our volunteers have told us that although Samos may take a few minutes to warm up, she greets them calmly and is easy to leash and walk. She may startle a bit when there’s loud traffic but will quickly shake it off and relax. She is attentive, enjoys petting and playing the “find it” game for treats, and will sit politely.
Samus will only be rehomed to a family without children and if considered for multi-dog home, a meet at shelter will be required prior to adoption to be sure Samus feels comfortable. Samus is what we lovingly call a Golden Nugget – a pet whose shine only grows brighter once you take the time to know her. She’s ready to surprise you and charm you.
