If you are looking for a lost pet, please contact our team at 303.278.7575 to review the pets in our care and help determine if your pet is at our shelter.
In compliance with Colorado law, Foothills Animal Shelter holds and displays stray animals for a minimum of five days. During this five-day stray period, our team attempts to contact pet owners with information available on the pet’s collar, tags, and/or microchip registry. After five days, animals are evaluated for our adoption program. Please contact our team as soon as possible if you believe your pet is at our shelter. Please note: pet identification and proof of ownership are required for redemption.
