Better Together Programs

We believe that animals are an integral part of the family, and research shows that the family and their pets benefit when animals can stay with or be reunited with their owners after a traumatic experience.

As part of our work in keeping pets with their families, we have partnered with Human Service Agencies and our Animal Control Partners to bring services to the citizens of Jefferson County. Our goal is to preserve the human-animal bond by providing support and services to those who need it.

Better Together Form

Thanks to Petco Love, Foothills is able to provide DHPP vaccinations to dogs sheltered through the Better Together program, free of cost to pet owners.

Better Together Partnerships

Working with partner organizations Foothills Animal Shelter works to provide resources to pet owners in our community during their time of need. Our Shelter provides Better Together clients with pet food, animal supplies, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services. We will also provide short-term housing when requested.
