This cat’s life so far has been hard. Living alongside many other cats in an overcrowded home, she missed out on the opportunity to develop the social skills most cats build in early kittenhood, and now finds change and novelty overwhelming.
She is seeking a generous family content to offer the time and space she needs to find comfort in a new place and routine, and who will appreciate the friendship she can offer, even if it’s only flirtatious blinks from across the room and a shadow at the foot of the bed at night rather than a cuddle session on your lap.
Where this cat shines is her ability to be companionable with other cats! In the shelter, she has taken comfort in the company of others from her home, and joining a family with a welcoming, outgoing cat friend may be one of the most successful strategies to help them her comfortable connecting with new people.
She has not had exposure to dogs or children and, for her comfort, we suggest not asking her to tackle those new experiences.
