Zoey is both light and shadow! She’s trying hard to trust new friends, but stays just out of reach! She will require a patient, experienced family to advocate for her when she is overwhelmed and who doesn’t take it personally when she can’t “love” you immediately. Zoey lived successfully with a kitty in a previous home, and has enjoyed the company of other like-sized canines while in the shelter. A home with a secure fenced private yard is recommended so that Zoey can come and go without leashing for toileting during her initial time at home. At this time, sweet Zoey will only be adopted to a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age.
