Barry Bee Benson is the kind of dog who doesn’t need to demand attention; he just settles in, watches the room, and somehow becomes the main character anyway! He appreciates the simple things: a comfortable place to rest, good company, and loving moments with family.
Despite all the recent changes in his life, this sweet boy continues to greet our volunteers with a loose, wiggly body and an eagerness to head out for his daily walks. On leash, Barry Bee is attentive and responsive, checking in often and happily sitting when asked. He takes treats gently and enjoys a mix of sniffing, exploring at his own pace, and soaking up gentle petting from his human friends.
Barry is recommended for a family without other dogs at this time, but has lived successfully with cats in his previous home.
