Meet Chip! Chip is a gentle, slightly insecure fellow who warms up quickly with a few tasty treats. He enjoys sniffy walks, exploring the world at his own pace and building confidence along the way. This sensitive boy has been doing his best to navigate the stress and uncertainty of shelter life but once he feels safe, his playful, fun personality begins to shine. Our volunteers describe Chip as a very gentle soul. Once outside he relaxes, becoming attentive and engaged. He enjoys his walks and will lean for soft petting.
We expect Chip will thrive with a family that approaches him with patience, understanding, kindness — and a snack or two. But once he’s comfortable, he could become the hiking or even jogging companion you’ve been hoping to find. Chip prefers to have plenty of space while enjoying his favorite snacks and treats, so FAS will only rehome to a family with children 10 years of age or older and as the only pet in his new home.
