Twinkie is just as sweet in the middle as the treat he’s named after! He’s a shy guy and will benefit from a patient family who allows him to choose his timeline for adjusting to his new surroundings and provides gentle social support as needed. In the shelter, Twinkie has remained just out of reach and hiding from people in his office residency. We believe the best outcome for Twinkie will be an “as-is” exit from the shelter so his new family can assume his care. While it may take several weeks or months for this handsome boy to feel secure, we believe in time, he will appreciate your company. Twinkie will only be rehomed to a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age to aide in a low-stress transition.
