Mikey is a sweet dog who’s ready to find a family of his own and is sure to bring plenty of joy to his new home. Mikey has shown us nothing but joy, curiosity, and a big heart from the moment he came through our doors. Our volunteers share that Mikey starts his walks with spirited enthusiasm, eager to lead the way as he explores. He may loop around in happy circles, but he’s quick to slow down and refocus when treats are gently tossed on the ground, returning to their side on and responding well to requests for “sit” and “down.” In the play yard, Mikey will show off his fun, goofy side, chasing after a hard rubber ball, slowly sauntering back proudly, ball in mouth, before dropping it at their feet in exchange for a treat.
