Anchovy spent the early part of his life enjoying the outdoor lifestyle with a helpful caregiver who kept his belly full. Now, he is officially ready to trade the outdoor hustle for a warm couch and a family of his own. Because he’s used to a quieter, independent routine, Anchovy may take a little time to warm up in a new environment – but we expect he will amply reward his new human’s patience. In the shelter, following some adjustment, he has begun to absolutely melt into pets and show off a loud purr.
He is recommended for a household with older or no kids at this time. Anchovy has enjoyed the company of other cats in the shelter, and may benefit from going to a home that includes a welcoming cat friend.
