This cat most recently resided in an overcrowded home. They may have had a more typical home experience previously. It’s not unusual for cats from crowded conditions and limited individualized attention to benefit from a low-stress transition with an understanding family who can help them rebuild trust and a feeling of safety. These cats are often socially skilled with other cats, and may enjoy a feline friend in their new home. Take it slow, provide gentle social support, allow for ample rest and relaxation, and you’ll feel great when your new kitty consents to petting and play time.
Stubs is what we lovingly call a Golden Nugget- a cat whose shine only grows brighter when you take the time to get to know her!
