We will never know exactly what Butterfly experienced before she was found alone at a park.

Covered in apparent stab wounds and severe burns and extremely underweight, Butterfly was shut down and afraid. We are grateful Butterfly arrived at Foothills when she did. Our dedicated team provided weeks of skin grafts, burn treatments, surgic

al procedures to relieve her pain, and gentle encouragement to help her thrive. Knowing she was safe in our care, Butterfly began to heal.

Today, Butterfly has a renewed sense of confidence and happiness. After six weeks recovering in the comfort of a foster home, Butterfly is now in a loving home of her own.
