Each class is limited to six dogs for a lot of personal attention. Whether your pooch is a playful pup or a seasoned companion, Calvert Dog Training’s expert trainers will help them become the best four-legged friends they can be!

Beginner dog class

Intermediate dog class

gate & door manners (level 3 with distractions)

handling (feet, ears, mouth, etc)
stay or settle (level 3 amid distractions)
being alone

Prerequisite knowledge requirements include basic obedience commands in an easy setting for your dog, like your living room (minimal to no distractions.) We’d like for your dog to know most of these.

Advanced dog class

gate & door manners (level 4 high distractions)
loose leash walking with high distractions
recall past a crowd (level 4)
emergency stop with high distractions (level 4)
special topics as requested

Prerequisite knowledge requirements include most basic obedience commands in a moderate setting for your dog, like a minimally busy cafe or your home when there are friendly guests who are known to your dog.
