Finalist for next Executive Director announced

The Foothills Animal Shelter Board of Directors has named Maggie McSchaefer, the shelter’s Director of Animal Behavior and Sheltering, as the finalist for Foothills’ next Executive Director.

McSchaefer has served alongside Connie Howard, the shelter’s current Executive Director, for four years. Howard recently announced that she will be retiring from her role in October 2024.

The Board will formally consider appointment of McSchaefer to the new role at the Board meeting to be held on May 23.
