Atlas can be a bit reserved at first and may need time and patience to feel comfortable around new people, but once he settles in, his goofy and personable side shines. As a stray, shelter life has been stressful for Atlas, and he would do best in a calm home that lets him adjust at his own pace. With kindness and understanding, Atlas has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.
Atlas may take a little time to get comfortable with new people, but once he’s out on a walk, he becomes eager, relaxed, and genuinely happy, trotting ahead with an easy confidence while still staying attentive to his handler. Volunteers describe him as a dog who warms up beautifully-once he’s had a moment to settle, he shows you his bright, engaged side and really enjoys being out and about. He will only be rehomed to a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age.
