Chip is what we lovingly call a Golden Nugget – a pet whose shine only grows brighter once you take the time to know him! Chip is a gentle, slightly insecure fellow who warms up quickly with a few tasty treats. He enjoys sniffy walks and exploring the world at his own pace, building confidence along the way. This sensitive boy has been doing his best to navigate the stress of shelter life but once he feels safe, his playful, fun personality begins to shine. Our volunteers have told us that Chip is easy to leash, walks with minimal pulling, will sit for treats when politely asked, and enjoys a good roll in the grass.
We expect Chip will thrive with a family that approaches him with patience, understanding, kindness – and a snack or two. Chip prefers to have plenty of space while enjoying his favorite snacks and treats, so FAS will only rehome to a family with children 10 years of age or older and as the only pet in his new home.
