Everest has fully embraced the art of taking it easy. Her perfect day includes a little squirrel-watching, a sunny spot in the yard, a Kong or snuffle mat, and plenty of time spent near her favorite people. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will happily follow you from room to room and keep you company through the day’s activities, Everest may be your perfect match.
In foster care, Everest has settled into a comfortable routine and proven herself to be a wonderful house guest. She enjoys relaxing outdoors when the weather is nice, testing out cozy dog beds, and supervising household chores. While she occasionally enjoys a squeaky toy, she’s much more interested in companionship than playtime. Everest is affectionate, gentle, and loves being part of the action without demanding constant attention. She enjoys snuggling up beside her people and likes to know where they are throughout the day. When thunderstorms roll in, she appreciates having her trusted humans nearby for reassurance. She will only be rehomed as the only pet in her new home.
Everest is what we lovingly call a Golden Nugget-a pet whose shine only grows brighter once you take the time to know her.
