This sweet boy may need a bit of time to shake off his shelter stress- gentle support, lots of sweet touches, and treats will be the way to his heart. He’ll appreciate a low-traffic neighborhood at this time. Kenny is a sensitive, thoughtful dog who thrives with patience and kindness. He can be a bit shy when first approached for his walk, but once he’s outside, his confidence grows. Kenny loves a good sniffy walk, taking his time to explore the world with his nose leading the way. He’s a big fan of tasty treats, sits politely when asked, and leans in sweetly for gentle petting from his favorite people. On walks, our walkers help him refocus by tossing treats on the ground and playing the “find it” game, which he enjoys and responds to beautifully.
Kenny is recommended for an introduction to your dogs at the shelter if considering a multi-dog home, and he’s looking for a home without children or cats.
