Meet Oaken! This beautiful, sweet boy is happiest when he’s with his people. He loves gentle pets, long sniffy walks where he can explore every scent along the way, and relaxing close by after a day of adventures.
Oaken came to Foothills after his previous family faced circumstances that made rehoming him their only option. Despite all the recent changes in his life, he’s shown us what a genuinely sweet pup he is. Oaken greets volunteers with a happy, relaxed body and an easygoing, affectionate nature. On walks, Oaken is attentive and easy to handle, sitting politely for treats and leaning in for pets. He’s not shy about asking for affection, and he loves connecting with the people around him. In the play yard, fetch is one of his favorite ways to unwind! Oaken will only be adopted to a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age and as the only dog in his new home.
