Meet Penelope! Gorgeous lady looking for a place to call home! Such a softie girl feeling a little worried with the recent transitions in her life, and so eager to meet her new family! While Penelope can be a bit shy at first, her lovable, playful side shines once comfortable with her new people. Penelope loves to go on strolls and sniff all the neighborhood smells. She also loves a good comfy bed to curl up on and take long naps during the day.
We hear from our volunteers that Penelope is a pretty easy dog to walk, sweet and affectionate, and knows the sit and down commands. She may have a lot to say when she sees other dogs or traffic. However, since she loves treats, they are able to redirect her attention back to them.
At this time, Penelope is available to single dog household with children 10 years or older or no children.
