Da Boy has become a volunteer favorite, greeting them calmly and politely when they take him for walks, staying by their side, especially if he knows they have treats, leaning in for gentle petting, is attentive and has a calm energy. On a recent offsite hike with one of our volunteers, he was calm as bikers, joggers and other dogs came toward him – and he passed with flying colors!
