Microchips

Microchipping your pet helps reunite you and your pet should they get lost.

A microchip is about the size of a grain of rice and is implanted between your pet’s shoulder blades. A microchip contains a unique number that is used as an identifier when scanned by a shelter, Animal Control Officer or Veterinarian. It is crucial that your contact information is up-to-date so you can be contacted should your lost pet be found. If you cannot afford the cost to update your information with your microchip registry, we recommend you register your pet’s chip for free.

If you do not know your chip number you can either visit your Veterinarian or, visit us and we will scan your pet and provide you with the number.

Microchips are $35 which includes the registration of your chip. Please contact us for more information regarding the process.
