Beginning October 16, our Cat Adoption Center will be undergoing renovations to improve the shelter experience for cats and the cat adoption process for our patrons.
During construction, all available cats and found cats will be relocated to our Community Room, right across the hall from the Adoption Lobby!
View Available CatsYes, all available and found cats are still on-site at Foothills Animal Shelter, 580 McIntyre Street, Golden, CO 80401. All cats have been temporarily relocated to our Community Room, right across the hall from the Adoption Lobby. Look for signs directing you to Shelter cats when you arrive. Our staff will also be happy to answer any questions you may have!
For the duration of the Cat Adoption Center renovations, our weekly low-cost Vaccine Clinic will only be providing services to dogs. To learn more, please visit foothillsanimalshelter.org/vaccinations.
We anticipate that renovations will take approximately 6 weeks to complete, though Foothills will provide progress updates throughout these efforts.
